Alape is a manufacturer of aesthetic washplace solutions made of glazed steel for the private and semi-public sectors. Clear systematics characterise the intelligent, modular product programme, which unites unique aesthetics with functionality. The personalised design possibilities, puristic design concepts and the high quality and precise processing of selected materials are characteristic of the manufacturer Alape. In the midst of the conflicting priorities of emotion and purism, the company emphasises its strengths effectively. Glazed steel is a composite material composed of a resilient, but light steel frame and a high-quality, homogeneous glass surface. The firing process fuses the metal and glass into one unit combining the best properties of each of the materials: robust and sturdy like steel; gentle on the skin, food safe and colour-fast like glass. At the same time, the non-porous surface simply shines as it is hygienic and easy to clean. The distinctiveness of the materials also includes the fact that it offers design flexibility for puristic shapes that Alape develops together with its design partners busalt design from Traunreut, Germany, Yorgo Lykouria Design from London and sieger design from Sassenberg, Germany.
